Results are presented for a program conducted to search for extragalactic radio sources with variable flux density at frequencies between 365 and 380 MHz. Approximately 1500 sources in the declination range from +13 deg to +50 deg were monitored for about two years; a total of 816 sources were sufficiently strong, well enough observed, and small enough that variability of the order of 20% to 50% could be detected. Of these 816, five definitely appear to vary and another 17 probably vary. Analysis of an unbiased sample of sources indicates that at least 2% of all extragalactic sources exhibit strong low-frequency variations. Brightness temperatures computed from the time scale of the variations for four sources with measured redshifts are found to be greatly in excess of the inverse Compton scattering limit for a synchrotron source.
