We present the results of a series of experiments to measure the properties of dust scattering and diffuse light in Orion and Scorpio. Using far ultraviolet spectral imaging data obtained in a series of sounding rocket flights we measure the dust albedo and phase functions in the 912 to 1400Å bandpass. Observations in this wavelength band are most sensitive to small dust grains in these regions. The data were obtained using a tomographic spectral imaging technique and optical system which allows us to record three dimensional data (e.g. RA, Dec, and wavelength) on a two dimensional detector. This work was supported under NASA grant NAG5-690.
