The Galactic center has been observed using the VLA, obtaining images at 2 cm with resolution of about 0.1 arcsec. The rms noise of 70 micro-Jy per beam, with a dynamic range of 22,000:1, is comparable to that in Yusef-Zadeh et al. (1990), but the new structures reported by Yusef-Zadeh et al. do not appear in the present observations. Several ways that low-level artifacts near Sgr A* might have been generated are discussed. The presence of a plume of emission 1 arcsec southwest of Sgr A* is also confirmed.
