I present my work on Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) observations and cosmology education from a perspective which emphasizes its broader value to society. Specifically, I'll look at how these programs fit in with my perspective on the value of cosmology, with other efforts in cosmological research and education, and with the needs of our ``customers," the public. I describe how in an integrated program of research and education, the two aspects can enhance each other synergistically. I also highlight some of the unique opportunities available through a museum-university partnership.
