In this paper, a method is described for calculating the values and
zeros of Hecke zeta functions over the Gaussian field. This has been
coded for the Mercury computer at Manchester University. The computation
of the functions was carried out for R s = 1/2 and, in the range of
calculation, they were found to satisfy the Riemann hypothesis.
