The FIREBall experiment is designed to search for IGM Ly-a emission at a
redshift of 0.7 and other hot gas tracers from z=0.3 to z=1.0. We report
on plans for a second flight in May of 2009 and summarize the instrument
performance from the maiden flight in July of 2007.
