Measured rotation rates of the spectroscopic binary stars ι Peg A
(6.5±0.3 km s-1) and B(5±1 km s-1)
are found to be equal to the orbital synchronization values. The
question of whether synchronization has actually occurred is discussed
and the evidence is found to favor the hypothesis.
