Visual and photographic studies of the planet Saturn and its Ring System were carried out by ALPO Saturn Section observers between Feb. 7, 1987 and Oct. 18, 1987. Saturn showed about the same level of atmospheric activity in 1986-87 as was apparent in 1985-85. The northerly inclination of the ring plane, reaching +26.812 deg during this period, exposed the Northern Hemisphere of Saturn's globe and the northern face of its Ring System. The text is accompanied by tables, graphs, and references.
