An atlas containing 229 graphic spectra together with the corresponding fluxes and an ultraviolet spectral classification of normal stars is described. The preparation of this publication confirmed that MK classifications cannot simply be transferred to the ultraviolet range. A set of transparencies illustrates the reference sequences constructed from the ultraviolet data. A magnetic tape copy of all the spectra pertaining to this volume is available from the Strasbourg Stellar Data Center.
