Low resolution IUE spectra of blue straggler stars are presented, and their appearance is compared with normal stars and stellar atmosphere models. Stars HD 73666, HD 6870, HD 170054 and Fagerholm 81 were observed. Compared to normal stars of the same spectral type, HD 73666 behaves in a similar manner, but the 3 others present differences which are noticeable and all different, so no general conclusion about the origin of blue stragglers is possible.
