The periodic orbits of a two-dimensional dynamical system which is symmetric with respect to both axes and is comprised of two equal or nearly equal frequencies are considered. These periodic orbits are noted to be directly derivable from the equations of motions, and to exhibit forms which depend on the value of the coupling parameter, alpha. The theoretical results obtained are verified by numerical calculations.
