VLA observations are presented of 26 radio quasars from the Jodrell Bank 966-MHz survey. The observations were made at 6 cm in the A array and thus have about 0.5-arcsec resolution. Jets are found in at least seven of the sources indicating that powerful jets are a very common feature in radio quasars. Central components are also detected in all the quasars at levels at least an order of magnitude higher than is found in similar samples of radio galaxies. It is argued that the statistics of detection of jets suggest that gamma is typically less than two in these structures.
