In order to understand the formation and the long-term dynamical evolution of globular clusters, it is necessary to ascertain the presence or absence of intermediate-mass black holes (IMBHs) at the centers of such systems. To address this question, we have obtained two epochs of data with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) covering the centers of 8 galactic globular clusters (GGCs). For three of these clusters we will also soon obtain a third epoch of data. When combining the exquisite resolution of HST with appropriate target and filter selections, it is possible to determine the proper motions for most stars, even in the very centers of these crowded GCs. In this poster, we will discuss the observational strategy that has been employed, the object selection, and some preliminary proper motion results. We will also discuss how dynamical modeling of the kinematic measurements will be used in subsequent stages of this project to constrain the mass of any possible IMBHs within the cores of these clusters.
