Significant changes in the supernova remnant Cas A have occurred in a period of nine years between 1967 and 1976. At both epochs, about one third of the total flux density at 2695 MHz is contained in small components, while the remainder is contained in a rather smooth plateau. The latter appears to be expanding by less than 200 km/s, but the fine-scale features appear to have random velocities which often exceed 3000 km/s. Although most component fluxes are decaying with a mean 1/e lifetime of 48 yr, approximately 30% of the features are still brightening at various rates. The source structure at 8085 MHz is found to be remarkably similar to that at 2695 MHz. Maps of the linear polarization of Cas A at 2695 MHz are also presented.
