We present the results of the VLA and SMA continuum and emission line
observations towards the massive star formation region IRAS 16547-4247.
We discuss the rotating structures and the outflow observed in radio
continuum and molecular tracers. We estimate the mass of the central
object and discuss the nature of other sources in the region.
