The periodic content of the light curve of the Delta Scuti star HR 1170 is analyzed by means of the multiple frequency fitting method and the least squares fitting of observational data to periodic terms. The photoelectric data of Pena and Warman (1979) and of Gupta (1977) are thus found to indicate periods of 0.0994 and 0.0913 days, the ratio between which suggests a nonradial pulsation mode.
