During 1976 and 1977, interplanetary scintillations of the radio source 3C 279 were observed at centimeter wavelengths with the RATAN-600. At gamma = 3.9 cm the scintillation index becomes saturated at solar distances of 4R from the sun. At the solar distance of 5 R the solar-wind velocity was 140 km/sec; at the solar distance of 10 R it rises to about 400 km/sec.
