We present preliminary measurements of the rate of period change for the pulsation modes of the helium rich white dwarf pulsator (DBV) EC20058-5234. Plasmon neutrino emission is expected to contribute substantially to the cooling rate of EC20058-5234. Models predict a relationship between the cooling rate of the star and the rate of period change of each mode. Measurement of the rate of period change of a mode, and hence the cooling rate, is an indirect measurement of plasmon neutrino emission.
