Spectroscopic and photoelectric observations of TZ Boo are presented, earlier material of this system is rediscussed. Indications for a third body in the system have been found. The radial velocity curve seems to be disturbed by the influence of circumstellar matter. The period probably varies. Some geometrical and physical elements could be determined. The mass ratio has been found to be about 0.22. Strong lightcurve changes have been detected and are explained by the occurrence of both solar-like starspots and circumstellar matter. The large UV-excess of TZ Boo is discussed briefly.
