Photoelectric observations in U, B, and V are presented for the ellipsoidal variable IW Per, a single-line close spectroscopic binary system with metallic-line A-type spectra. From these observations and from spectrograms, spectroscopic orbital elements are determined as follows: K1=99.3 km/s, gamma=0.2 km/s, a sin i=1.80 solar radii, and f(m)=0.093 solar masses (SMs). In addition, an orbital inclination of 63 deg and a fractional radius of 0.294 are deduced for the primary component (PC). Assuming the mass of the PC to be 2.0 SMs, the mass of the secondary is calculated to be 1.08 SMs, which would correspond to a Go-type if it is a main sequence star.
