The paper describes the results of stellar calculations performed during 1974-1978 in order to improve and extend the earlier age and mass calibrations. The physics of the stellar models is discussed, along with the consideration of the model construction procedure and computer program details. The standard solar model corresponding to the present model physics is obtained by fitting to the sun; the model requires a mixing length of 2.0 pressure scale heights and predicts a solar neutrino flux of 5.6 SNU.
