Planck will observe the temperature and polarization anisotropies of the CMB with an unprecedented combination of sensitivity, angular resolution, and frequency coverage. Among many other things, limits on primordial B-mode polarization and non-Gaussian fluctuations, or their detection,
will be important results of this mission.
