The HD 177390/1 system, to which the Henry Draper Catalogue ascribes a
composite spectrum (A0+G), is actually a double-lined spectroscopic
binary consisting of a slightly unequal pair of metallic-lined A stars
in a circular orbit whose period is very close to 8 days.
