Selecting stars with previously measured or estimated rotational periods we have measured equivalent widths of the Li doublet (6708 A) in 8 stars of the Hyades late main sequence and, combining our data with literature values, derive a homogeneous set of Li abundances. The graph of Li against period is monotonic, taking, not surprisingly, a similar form to that of Li against effective temperature. A plot of log N (Li) v, Rossby number allows us to examine separately the dependence of the Li abundance on temperature and rotation and indirectly on magnetic fields. For stars later than F8 the data suggest a slight trend to increased depletion with longer period, at constant B-V.
