Semikoz's (1987) approach is used to calculate plasmon decay into a neutrino-antineutrino pair. It is shown that the probability of the decay of a transverse plasmon into a neutrino-antineutrino pair and energy losses increase in dense astrophysical plasmas due to an additional interaction between neutrino spin and matter. The results may be of interest in connection with the investigation of neutrino pulses from the supernova SN 1987A in the LMC.
