In a study of the region of the galactic center around the star 45 Ophiuchi, two diffuse objects and a planetary nebula have been detected. The first diffuse object has a circular image with constant density in an area of 5-6 arc sec diameter that then decreases rapidly. It is only found on R and V plates. It is probably intrinsically red. The diffuse image of the second object is also visible only on R and V plates. The image decreases regularly in density from the center to the edge. The planetary nebula is of elliptic shape with major axis oriented NE-SW and is visible only on R plates. Identification maps are shown.
