Late in March 1978, VLBI observations were made at 10.6 GHz of the
X-ray-emitting Seyfert galaxy III Zw 2, which is currently undergoing a
dramatic outburst of radio radiation. About 1.2 + or - 0.1 Jy, nearly
85% of the total flux density, was received from an unresolved compact
core, a region no greater than 0.0004 arcsec in diameter.
