The possibility of using the force of light pressure for retaining a spacecraft in the vicinity of a collinear libration point in the system earth-moon is investigated. The controllability region is defined, and relationships required for the numerical solution of the problem are derived. The controllability regions for the systems earth-moon and sun-earth are plotted both for the one-dimensional and the two-dimensional formulations and their properties are discussed.
