The velocity field of the Seyfert galaxy Markarian 744 is investigated. Spectrograms are obtained using a diffraction spectrograph with an image tube at the primary focus of the 6-m telescope, and the rotation curves of the components are used to obtain estimates of the masses of the galaxies Markarian 744 and NGC 3788. The observed triple structure in Markarian 744 is explained by the disk dynamics determined by the nature of the rotation, and the kinematics of the gas in the nuclear region indicates the presence of two gas systems with noncircular motions. The first gas system radiates in the H-alpha forbidden lines N II and S II lines and exhibits both circular motion and radial motions with velocities of 30-40 km/sec. The second gas system radiates only in forbidden lines, and exhibits departures from circular motions by 80-100 km/sec in the direction towards the observer.
