Atmospheric Extinction

Scientific paper

The values of the monochromatic extinction for the wavelength interval 3100 A to 5800 A are presented. These values have been obtained at the Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory for nine periods of observation, betweem June 1967 and January 1969. In addition to the ozone standard function and weight function, described in a previous paper, a standard function and a weight function have been determined which describe the behaviour of the absorption bands located at wavelengths larger than 5200 A.
