Expressions are given for partial derivatives of eclipse functions with respect to geometrical depth,p, and the ratio of radii,k. The derivatives are evaluated for critical combinations ofp andk at which indeterminacies occur and the resulting expressions are listed. All expressions are given in a form suitable for numerical evaluation. Notation employed is that of Merrill.
