We review some recent ideas on gravitational aspects of models with extra dimensions. Models of braneworld gravity have received a great deal of attention recently and they range from warped extra dimensions with implications at colliders to infinite extra dimensions and their implications in cosmology and astrophysics. We will pay particular attention to models of induced gravity (the so called DGP models), their successes in explaining the current acceleration of the Universe and their shortcomings and discuss simple generalizations that might evade some of these difficulties.
