Updated results of an ongoing spectrographic and photometric survey of the two starlike objects Henize 2-442 A and B are reported. The A component has exhibited forbidden Fe VII lines and B component has not, while both emit forbidden N II lines. The A object varied in the V by 0.25 mag over a one day period in September 1983. No significant variations have been seen in the B data. Emission line spectra for both objects are fit by gas ionized by a hot central object. It is not yet clear whether or not the objects are interacting in any way.
