The Seyfert 1.5 galaxy MCG 8-11-11 has been observed at 2 and 6 cm with the highest resolution configuration of the VLA. The centre of the galaxy contains a triple radio source having a size of 400 pc; the central component of that source is less than 30 pc in diameter and presumably can be identified with the core of the active galaxy. The triple source is embedded in more diffuse emission ≡2 kpc in size. This diffuse emission has a major-axis position angle that is similar to that of the bar in the optical galaxy but differs from the position angle of the triple source by 50°. The overall morphology of the source is S-shaped, but the curvature is quiete abrupt at the ends of the triple source. The 2-kpc-scale emission must be largely non-thermal. It appears that the core radio emission in Seyfert 1 and 1.5 galaxies may be weakly correlated with their X-ray emission.
