Scientific paper

Photometric data on GK Per, measured on 57 blue-sensitive plates obtained with the Tessar sky-patrol camera at Sonneberg Observatory during 1979-1982, are presented in tables and graphs and briefly characterized. The system is found to have been in its quiescent state at 13.9 mag throughout the period of observations, and an outburst is predicted for some time in 1983 or 1984.
