An analysis of the radial velocities of galactic globular clusters to derive a galactic rotation parameter as a function of metallicity isolates not only the well-established high rotational velocities of the metal-rich clusters but also systematic retrograde motions among a chemically, and also in terms of horizontal-branch morphology, homogeneous group of clusters. This result may indicate that the halo of the Galaxy formed from the coalescence of a small number of galaxies which were parental to halo galactic globular clusters.
