Strong cylindrical magnetogasdynamic shock waves in rotating
interplanetary medium have been studied and an analytic solution for
their propagation has been obtained. Using characteristic method and
considering the effect of Coriolis force, the authors have shown that
magnetic field has significant effect on the velocity of the shock wave.
