The optical continuum (B-band) linear polarization of the early-type supergiants κ Cas and α Cam was intensively monitored over the last two quarters of 1978 and, to a lesser extent, in 1976. Ordered but nonperiodic polarization changes were detected in both stars. These changes are manifestation of variable asymmetric mass loss in the stars' extended atmospheres. They may originate in aperiodic nonradial stellar pulsations.
