The authors present high resolution radio observations at 1.4 and 5 GHz of the nearby elliptical galaxy NGC 5322, which is associated with a weak radio source (P1.4 GHz = 4×1021 WHz-1). The radio structure shows two symmetric jets emanating from a compact unresolved core and extending over the linear scale of ≡1 kpc. These features are surrounded by a low brightness region, of total linear extent ≡14 kpc, completely embedded within the optical galaxy.
