A system of nonlinear equations of Stellingwerf's one-zone model coupled pulsation and convection has been studied concerning the dependence on the depth of the convective zone. It has been shown that the system has one fixed point for the case of a shallow convective zone, and two for the case of rather deep convection, except at the origin. The numerical solutions for the cases of two fixed points show some chaotic oscillations, such as period doubling, period 6, period 3, and so on. The solutions of long-period and large oscillation width were also obtained. It is suggested that these results are helpful for interpretating the observational data of semi-regular and Mira variables. Further theoretical problems are also discussed.
