The authors report the results of extensive mapping of the region around SSV 13 in the NGC 1333 star forming region in the CO and 13CO (J = 1 - 0) lines at high angular resolution with the Onsala 20-m millimeter wave telescope. They find evidence for an outflow cluster, all individually associated with the IRAS sources in this region. They provide arguments for the disentanglement of these blended sources, which furthermore indicate the dominating bipolar outflow associated with SSV 13 and HH 7-11, to be less massive than previously thought. The authors obtain a new high resolution map of the high velocity CO gas associated with the Herbig-Haro objects HH 7-11. By proposing that the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability at the interface of the optical and CO flows produces clumps of dense molecular material within the jet flow from SSV 13, the observed spatial distribution of the various related emission phenomena, i.e. optical diffuse and HH, vibrationally excited H2 and high velocity CO emission is brought into concordance.
