Observed rotation curves for galaxies with values of the visible mass ranging over three order of magnitude together with considerations involving equilibrium configurations of massive neutrinos, impose constraints on the ratio between the masses of visible and dark halo components in spiral galaxies. Upper and lower limits are derived for the mass of the particles making up the dark matter.
