I comment on several areas where radioactivity is relevant to supernova remnant evolution: the possibility that the protrusions observed in the Vela remnant are due to clumps formed by the radioactive Ni bubble effect, the status of the RX J0852 X-ray source which is a possible source of the γ-ray line from 44Ti decays, and the possible origin of extinct radioactivities in the solar system.
