Results of observations of the gravitationally lensed quasar 0957 + 561 taken over several years with the VLA at wavelengths of 2 cm, 6 cm, 18 cm, and 20 cm are presented. Eight total intensity maps of the object are shown, source positions and fluxes are described, and polarization and VLBI results are discussed. Improved models for the mass distribution of the lens are presented which require a vary high mass-to-light ratio for the central part of the foreground cluster of galaxies. It is shown that the lensing material cannot be distributed in the same way as the visible matter in the cluster members.
