A region of nonthermal radio emission near the boundary of the Orion and Gemini constellations has long been regarded as an old supernova remnant, but there is uncertainty as to whether the emission corresponds to a quite small remnant (G192.8-1.1) with diameter of about 1.5 deg, or a much larger remnant (the Origem loop) with diameter of about 5 deg. A new map of the region at 1.4 GHz has now been made with the Penticton synthesis telescope, covering a 2-deg field with good resolution (several arcmin) and high sensitivity. The structure revealed by the new data supports the small diameter remnant interpretation. Near the supernova remnant lie several H II regions and many extragalactic sources, and these are briefly discussed.
