The Wooley (1954) and Michie-King (respectively 1963, 1967) models are among the examples analyzed in the present solution of the eigenvalue problem for the first-order radial perturbation of four energy-truncated distributions in model stellar systems. All eigenvalues obtained for all models with finite masses and radii are real, and there is no indication of instability in dynamical time scales.
