The self-consistent model of the dynamical and chemical evolution of collapsing interstellar clouds is presented. We have included main atomic and molecular species linked through the chemical reaction network, which includes both gas-phase and grain-surface reactions. Equations of chemical kinetics, hydrodynamics, and thermal balance are solved simultaneously. We apply our model to a 1D simulation of early stages of protostellar collapse, affected by interstellar UV radiation of varying intensity. We have found that the collapsing cloud, affected by the UV field, has an inner collapsing core and a photoevaporative envelope with the relative mass fraction depending on the initial cloud density and the UV radiation intensity.
