The author discusses a new formulation of the problem on orientation of the axes of the dynamical and fundamental reference frames from positional observations of the Moon and Earth's artificial satellites. Positions of dynamical and catalogue zero-points are fixed on the sphere within the framework of a new geometrical model. Equations for determining the differences between these zero-points together with the corrections to orbital orientation elements are obtained from this model. These equations are compared with those used earlier. It is shown that the correction to the catalogue equinox and the correction to the right ascension of the orbital ascending node are not separable. This may explain why corrections to right ascensions derived from observations of the Moon and other bodies in the solar system are in rather poor agreement with one another. The recommendations are given for more correct solution of this problem in future.
