The high-S/N cometary spectra obtained by the Subaru telescope and the high-dispersion spectrograph (HDS) could lead us to the establishment of new technique to determine the ortho-to-para ratio of cometary ammonia. We introduce our recent results and future prospects for the investigation based on the ortho-to-para ratio of cometary molecules. This new technique and the Subaru telescope will reveal the conditions in the solar nebula or pre-solar molecular cloud.
