A sample of IRAS selected, radio quiet, sources with colours similar to ultracompact (UC) HII regions have been imaged at mid-infrared and submillimetre wavelengths. The submillimetre emission imaged with SCUBA shows the sources to have a range of morphologies and modelling indicates that the circumstellar envelopes of these sources have flatter density profiles than UC HII regions.
